Information collected

EchoWords stores the information needed to provide accounts, game progress, optional purchases, support, security, and player-selected preferences. Guests receive a random device-linked player token. Registered accounts store a player name, email address, and password hash.

Gameplay information

Progress, scores, stars, achievements, accepted words, rewards, and settings are stored so the game can function. First-party operational analytics record limited event counts for balancing and reliability. Players may opt out of those analytics.

Payments

Payment providers process card or account details. EchoWords stores order references, amounts, currencies, status, and receipt information, but not full payment-card numbers.

Sharing

Personal information is not sold. Information is shared only with service providers needed for hosting, email, payment processing, security, and legal compliance.

Retention and choices

Players can download a copy of their data, opt out of first-party analytics, and schedule account deletion. Financial transaction records may be retained in anonymized form when legally required.

Security

EchoWords uses hashed passwords, protected sessions, request validation, security headers, access controls, and restricted storage directories. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
